세 번째로 한국을 방문한 일리노이 목관오중주단은 미국 일리노이 대학교 목관악기 담당 교수들이자 각각 다양한 커리어를 갖고 있는 뛰어난 멤버들로 구성되어 있습니다.
플루티스트 조나단 키블(Jonathan Keeble) 교수는 풍부한 소리와 열정적인 성격, 그리고 독창적인 음악성으로 잘 알려져 있습니다. 유명한 연주자이자 마스터 클래스 전문가로서 "다양하고 섬세한 음색을 겸비한 매우 유연한 소리를 가진 연주자," 라는 평을 듣고 있는 키블교수는 미국 플루트 협회의 프로그램 체어를 역임하기도 했던 현재 가장 뛰어난 플루티스트 중 한 명입니다.

Preparing for its third trip to South Korea the Illinois Woodwind Quintet is comprised of five unique individuals with varying careers. Flutist Jonathan Keeble is known for his rich tone, effervescent personality, and nuanced musicality. In high demand as performing artist and master class clinician, he has been described as having an “infinitely flexible sound, with many subtle colors,” and is among the leading performers of his generation. John Dee is the Bill A. Nugent Endowed Professor of Music Performance and Professor of Oboe at the University of Illinois. He was principal oboe of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra and Florida Grand Opera for over twenty years and also Oboe Professor at the University of Miami and the Harid Conservatory of Music. Clarinetist J. David Harris has won critical acclaim for his elegant and expressive playing. As the principal clarinetist with Sinfonia da Camera, Illinois Symphony Orchestra, and the Champaign-Urbana Symphony, Harris combines technical mastery, depth of musicality, and a solid ensemble style to his playing. Hornist of the Canadian Brass and Assistant Professor of Horn at the University of Illinois, Bernhard Scully has been described as among the elite musicians of his generation, both as a performer and a pedagogue. Bernhard was formerly principal horn of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, and he frequently performs with orchestras across North America such as the Chicago Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, and Violon du Roy of Quebec City. In addition to his appointment as Associate Professor of Bassoon at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Timothy McGovern is currently Principal Bassoonist with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Prairie Winds Woodwind Quintet and IQ (Illinois Woodwind Quartet). For seven years he was Associate Principal Bassoon of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and Principal Bassoon of the Montreal Symphonette and McGill Chamber Orchestra.
