The Pan Music Festival, hosted by the ISCM Korea section, this year marks the 48th Festival.
We look forward to ISCM Korea section member's & composer's interest and participation in the 48th Pan Music Festival.

■ Performer: Soo-yeon Lim
■ Instrumentation: piano and electric music(sound)
■ Organizational restrictions: 2-channel stereo OUT, real-time sound processing or non real-time sound processing, software used for concert, and necessary equipment
■ Deadline: August 17, 2020, 6pm (E-mail arrival time)
[Category 2]
■ Performer: Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble
■ Instrumentation: Flute, Clarinet (Bass Clarinet), Violin, Cello, Piano
■ restrictions: without live electronics, No excluding improvisation
■ Deadline: August 17, 2020, 6pm (E-mail arrival time)
[Category 3]
■ Performer: Ensemble Geori (ensemble mixed with Korean traditional music instruments)
■ Instrumentation: Daegeum, Saenghwang, Geomungo, Piano, Violin, Cello
■ Organizing restrictions: Electronic music available (composer's own equipment prepare)
■ Music Direction: Experimental music, restrictively improvisation music, Gukak(Korean traditional music) style available
■ Deadline: August 17, 2020, 6pm (Email arrival time)
[Category 4]
■ Performer: Ensemble Insomnio
■ Instrumentation: flute, oboe, clarinet, bass-clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, harp, piano, 2 violins, viola, cello, double-bass, 2 percussions
■ Organizing limit: Choose from 2 Tamtams (medium and Big), Vibraphone, 2 Suspended Cymbals, Tubular Chimes, Bass Drum, Thai Gong (g-flat), Log Drum, Frame Drum, Guiro
■ Deadline: August 17, 2020, 6pm (E-mail arrival time)

1. 'Call for score' overview
■ Theme: No restrictions (creative works related to the 250th anniversary of Beethoven can also be submitted)
■ Target: No more than 15 minutes works (both premiere and reenactment are possible, but premiere works take precedence)
■ Qualifications: Member of ISCM Korea section, Young Composer (born after 1990), Member of ISCM members countries
2. Schedule
■ How to submit: Please send the following documents to the ISCM Korea section email iscmkorea@gmail.com as a compressed file with “Composer's Name_2020 Pan Music Festival Call for score”.
■ Application deadline: (Korea time) August 17, 2020, 6pm
■ Result Announcement: Before August 28
■ Scores of selected works and part score delivered: Until September 1st
■ Festival Period : Nov. 05, 2020-Nov. 14.
3. Required documents
■ Application form (PDF format): ISCM Korea section website download through the PAN Music Festival announcement
■ Gazette (PDF format, including title / composer's title cover, do not write composer's name on partition)
■ Sound source (In case of reenactment, please attach if possible, mp3 format)
■ Profile picture (JPG format, high definition)
4. Notice
Please observe the application method and file format.
It is possible to enter both premiere and reenactment works, but the premiere works will be selected first.
회원 If you are a member of ISCM member countries abroad, you can submit only works that have been composed within 3 years.
In the case of young composers, it is a rule to play one piece per person, but it is possible to submit multiple pieces of work by category. (However, participation fee is accepted for each work)

ISCM Korea members exhibiting in the existing composer category do not have a separate participation fee, but only those who have paid the annual membership fee for the past three years are allowed to participate in the contest and perform their work.
