Graduated in composition at Yonsei University, Munsuk Lee studied composition under Michael Obst and Rheinhard Wolschina, music theory under Klaus Heiwolt and electronic music under Robin Minard at the University of Musik Franz Liszt Weimar (Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt), Germany.

With composition techniques based on algorithm, he has transformed various subjects, including art, literature, dance, architecture and science, into music. By doing so, he has taken multilateral approaches to understand and appreciate the arts, including music.
