김유리는 대구 가톨릭대학교와 동대학원을 졸업하고 독일 Lübeck 음악대학 작곡과를 졸업하였다. 시인 클라우스 기념 프로젝트에 참가 하였고 브람스 페스티벌에서 작품을 위촉 받았다. 또한 북독일 방송국(NDR) 초청으로 작품을 발표했다. 1994년에 귀국하여 개인 작곡발표회를 가졌을 뿐 아니라 독일, 중국, 폴란드, 일본 등지에서도 초청 작품 발표했고 국내에서도 영남작곡가협회, 대구작곡가회, 여성작곡가회, 찬송가협회 회원으로 작품 활동을 하였다. 대구작곡가협회 회장과 대구국제현대음악제 감독을 역임하였다. 현재 대구가톨릭대겸임교수, 영남대학교, 안동 국립대학교 그리고 경북예고에 출강하고 있다.

 

Kim, Yoo-ri received M.M. and B.A. degrees in music composition from Deagu Catholic University and K.A. from Germany the Hochschule für Musik in Lübeck. She was awarded prize from as the Posshl competition in Germany. Currently she is a lecturer at several universities and member of Youngnam Composer, Women Composer Section Korea, ISCM Section Korea and she was a music director DCMF(Deagu International Contemporary music Festival).
Now she is a composition Part-time professor of Deagu Catholic University, Young-nam University and Andong National University.
